Inclusion
Blind, low-vision and sighted students learn, play and grow together — the very design of our school, not an afterthought.
Who We Are
Everything at AES flows from one conviction — that every child, with or without sight, belongs in the same school.
Our Mission
Our mission has three simple parts — presence, integration and opportunity:
We develop each student’s academic capability and their character through a peace education built on democracy, respect for human rights, an emphasis on volunteer work, and being good stewards of the environment.
“Serving northern Jordan as a presence of the Arab Episcopal Church — integrating blind and low-vision students with sighted students, providing all with the best educational and social opportunities.”
Our Values
Blind, low-vision and sighted students learn, play and grow together — the very design of our school, not an afterthought.
Democracy and dignity practised daily in the classroom and the playground.
Respect for every person’s rights and worth — a lesson lived out among us.
A culture of serving others, from students to families to visitors from abroad.
Good stewardship of the environment — best seen in our solar panels and daily habits.
We develop not only academics but the heart — honesty, kindness and responsibility.
Our Vision
We dream of an integrated school — and a Braille-literate local community — that shows what happens when every child is given the chance to learn together. Already home to blind, low-vision and sighted students, we want our model to inspire schools across Jordan and beyond.
